Ask who supervises access, deliveries, trade coordination, barriers, and cleanup. Everyone should know whom to contact when a hazard appears.
Separate occupants and work
Plan routes for residents, staff, visitors, and workers. Discuss dust, noise, electrical isolation, open trenches, and stored materials with qualified teams.
Plan for existing hazards
Renovations may involve materials or systems requiring special handling. Do not disturb a suspected hazardous material based on an online checklist; involve a qualified assessor.
Track corrections
Agree how concerns will be reported, who can stop affected work, and how corrections will be verified before work resumes.
